                           RESOLUTION                                           
                                                                                
     ON THE ENTRY INTO FORCE OF THE LAW ON POLITICAL PARTIES                    
                                                                                
     The Supreme Council of the Republic of Lithuania resolves:                 
                                                                                
     1.  To  establish  that  the  re-registration  of  political               
parties which  have been  registered   according to the procedure               
established by  laws of  the Republic  of Lithuania  prior to the               
entry into force of this law shall not be required.                             
     2. To  charge political parties in the Republic of Lithuania               
to conform  their charters   and party programs to the provisions               
of this  law and  to submit them to the Ministry of Justice prior               
to 1 January, 1991.
