RESOLUTION                                           
                                                                                
                     ON THE ENTRY INTO FORCE                                    
                                                                                
                    OF THE LAW ON COMPETITION                                   
                                                                                
                                                                                
                                                                                
     The Supreme Council of the Republic of Lithuania resolves:                 
                                                                                
     1. To establish that the Law on Competition shall enter into               
force  on November 1, 1992.                                                     
     2. To commission the Government of the Republic of Lithuania               
to prepare,   prior to the enforcement of this Law, the executive               
acts  required    for  its  implementation  and  to  approve  the               
regulations of  both the   Competition  Council and the Price and               
Competition Institution.                                                        
     3. To  commission the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of               
Lithuania   to prepare  a draft  of amendments  to  the  Code  of               
Violations of  Administrative   Law which  are connected with the               
enforcement of the Law on Competition.                                          
     4. To  grant the  Competition  Council  and  the  Price  and               
Competition   Institution the  right to interpret the application
