SUPREME COUNCIL OF THE REPUBLIC OF LITHUANIA                          
                           RESOLUTION                                           
            ON THE PROCEDURE FOR IMPLEMENTING OF THE                            
            LAW ON THE STATE BORDER PROTECTION OF THE                           
                      REPUBLIC OF LITHUANIA                                     
                                                                                
     Seeking to  give incentives  to officers of the State Border               
Protection Service  and to  improve its  material-technical base,               
the Supreme Council of the Republic of Lithuania resolves:                      
     To state  that the  procedure established  by the Government               
according to which:                                                             
     1) a  part of  money generated  from the  sale of  goods and               
valuables confiscated  by the  Customs is  allocated to the State               
Border Protection Service;                                                      
     2) financial  compensation is  paid to officers of the State               
Border Protection  Service for the use of the personal automobile               
for official needs
