CONCERNING THE COMMING INTO EFFECT THE LAW ON STATE BORDER OF THE               
                      REPUBLIC OF LITHUANIA                                     
                                                                                
                                                                                
     The Supreme Council of the Republic of Lithuania resolved:                 
                                                                                
     1. The   Law  on State  Border of  the Republic of Lithuania               
shall come into effect on 1 July 1992.                                          
     2.  The     procedure   for    fulfilling  the  requirements               
specified in part   2  of  Article  8    of  this  Law  shall  be               
established by the Government prior to 1 August 1992.                           
     3. To    rpopose  to  the  Government  of  the  Republic  of               
Lithuania that  citizens   of the  Republic of  Iceland,  Latvia,               
Estonia, Great  Britain and    Northern  Ireland  of  the  United               
Kingdom shoul be entitled to  the right to cross the state border               
of thye  Republic of  Lithuania without a visa of the Republic of
