SUPREME COUNCIL OF THE REPUBLIC OF LITHUANIA                          
                                                                                
                           RESOLUTION                                           
                ON THE PROCEDURE OF THE ENACTMENT                               
           OF THE LAW ON THE PRINCIPLES OF ACCOUNTING                           
                                                                                
                                                                                
     The Supreme Council of the Republic of Lithuania resolves:                 
                                                                                
     1. To  establish that  the  Republic  of  Lithuania  Law  on               
the Principles of Accounting enters into force on 1 January 1993.               
     2.  To    commission  the  Government  of  the  Republic  of               
Lithuania to prepare the standard  acts concerning  the procedure               
for the  enactment of  this Law  and  to establish  the terms and
