Resolution                                           
         of Supreme Council of the Republic of Lithuania                        
 On the Procedure of the Application of the Amendment to the Law                
       "On the Conditions and Procedure of the Restoration                      
                     of the Ownership Right"                                    
                                                                                
     The Supreme Council of the Republic of Lithuania resolves:                 
     1. To  establish  that upon the death of child of the former               
owner in  the event  he is no longer living, spouses and children               
of the  child who  is no longer living shall file their petitions               
to reclaim  the existing  real property or a compensation thereof               
with the  boards of  towns or districts in the territory of which               
the property in question is located, by 31  January, 1992.                      
     2. To  interpret, that if the court decides that a citizen's               
appeal against  the official's refusal to accept the petition for               
reclaiming the  existing real  property  of  for  a  compensation               
thereof filed  in due  time, as grounded, it shall restore at the               
same time the time limit for filing the petition.
